Site description
The Website allows several people to compose a memory book together.
The Website consists of a public space, for the attention of the visitor who wishes to discover the Website, and of a private space, for the attention of the User.
This section describes the principles of use of the Website.
Life cycle of a book
An organizer creates a book and sets a contribution deadline.
A book consists of a set of posts, composed of a text and optional images. Posts are added by contributors.
The organizer sends an invitation to contribute to the book to any person of his choice, through the channels of his choice: email, SMS, Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp, etc. The invitation consists of a book-specific URL of the Website. Knowledge of this URL is necessary and sufficient to join the book.
Anyone who joins the book is a guest. A guest can view the entire book, except discreet posts, which are only visible by their author, the organizer and in the printed book. To add his own posts to the book, he must become a contributor. The organizer is de facto a contributor.
After the contribution deadline, the organizer can order one or more printed books. He can allow any person of his choice to order one of his printed books. Payment is made on Monetico or PayPal. Printing and delivery are done by Flexilivre.
User categories
The User who registers on the Website becomes a member. A member enters his email address and his password, to allow his authentication. An email is sent to him confirming his address. A confirmed email address is required to allow the management of books and orders and to allow, if necessary, the recovery of the password.
A member can organize a book. Upon invitation, the User who chooses to join a book becomes a guest and a guest who chooses to contribute to the book becomes a contributor. The organizer is de facto a contributor. A contributor enters his signature (a pseudonym and an avatar), which will appear in his posts.
A contributor who registers on the Website, to become a member, or who logs in the Website, as an existing member, becomes a "member contributor", otherwise he remains a "temporary contributor". A member can be linked to several contributors.
A guest can view the book. A contributor, temporary or member, can add his own posts to the book. A member contributor can edit or remove his previous posts.

Contributors agree not to broadcast this invitation to people whose contribution is not desired. However, if the organizer considers that the registration of a contributor is undesirable, he may unregister the contributor at any time and without notice. He can also renew the invitation, thereby making obsolete the previously broadcasted invitation.

Order of a printed book
Layout
The organizer can order one or more printed books.
To order a printed book, the organizer must enter the layout parameters.
A harmonious layout of the book is automatically generated by the Website, depending on the nature of the posts and the layout parameters.
The organizer can customize this layout, through a “customization toolbox”.
During customization, the organizer brings successive transformations to the layout, from an automatically generated version to a final version. Successive versions of this transformation are not saved. If the customization work of the organizer is interrupted, voluntarily or accidentally, before the validation of the order, it will have to be started again (from an automatically generated version).

To order the made layout, the organizer must:
- check the layout,
- enter the delivery mode, delivery speed, delivery details and billing details,
- read and accept the terms of sale,
- pay the amount of the order.
The organizer's order confirms his full and entire acceptance of the terms of sale (see Terms of sale).
The organizer is solely responsible for his layout. He undertakes to check it page by page before its validation. The validation of his order implies the validation of his entire layout.
Payment for the order is made on Monetico or PayPal.
Digital version
When the order is processed, the digital version of the printed book, in PDF format, is available for download for 7 weeks.
Sharing
The organizer may share a printed book with any person of its choice. The person must first become a member of the Website and a contributor of the book.
The member may view the shared printed book and order it, identically.
Content input
Texts input
A text is added and edited through a regular text input field, without any layout.
A text can only contain printable characters, belonging to a predefined list of characters and emojis.
Images input
An image is added through a regular image file selection field or by drag & drop.
Error correction
The contents may contain possible errors:
- errors in the writing of texts,
- spelling or grammatical errors,
- errors in the choice of images,
- poor images, because of (without this enumeration being exhaustive): poor sharpness, poor brightness, poor framing, rotation or flipping, visual defects.
The Website does not detect errors.
Errors are subjective and may have been introduced intentionally, for example to produce a humorous effect. They do not invalidate a book.
Contributors are invited to notify each other of any errors they detect. Contributors, for their own content, and the organizer, for all content, are invited to correct them, if necessary. After printing the book, no more corrections can be made.
Images quality
Image quality
The quality of an image depends on 2 main factors:
- its size, i.e. its width and height expressed in pixels,
- its sharpness, a subjective factor measuring our ability to recognize the subject.
For example, here are 3 images built from the same original image:
-
Small image and good sharpness
-
Large image and good sharpness
-
Large image and poor sharpness (exaggerated, for didactic purposes)
Image quality detection
The Website detects the size of the images but does not detect their sharpness.
Therefore, in the previous example, the Website will consider the quality of image n° 2 (large size) as being superior to that of image n° 1 (small size), but the qualities of images n° 2 (good sharpness) and n° 3 (poor sharpness) as being equivalent. Which obviously does not conform to reality.
The User is therefore invited to pay great attention to the sharpness of the images, particularly when they are obtained from the digitization of printed images.
